Blog Post #4- Audience.

I define audience as the people who reads, listens and gives you criticize your piece of work to make you a better artist. Anzaldua contributes that there can be different kind of audiences which could exist depending on situations, For Example, everyone has different vision to different things, which is the reason we judge things differently. People from a different nation might have different thinking about their fashion and when they move to a new country they might be judge based of their fashion. Even after reading both the texts, my definition of an audience stayed the same and it’s probably because both of the texts defined the audiences similarly as I did.

Anazaldua contributes the idea that a piece of writing can be written in a very informative and primary way and can still reach out the specific group of audience. For Instance: he piece could be for everyone because it’s about personal life experiences and I am sure everyone has one. It might not be similar to her, but we all have struggles in life.

Plus she has written her text with full of emotion and sympathy to the audience, which I think is more effective than Bitzer and Bazermaan’s text because those text wasn’t about emotion. I think we connect to emotion faster and stronger than with information. My definition of audience hasn’t change a bit and it’s because all the texts I have read defined the audience in a similar ways.
